The CBR is about to embrace blockchain technology. By Ksenia Liskina, Relationship Manager, GSS Russia
The Central Bank of Russia (CBR) announced the launch of the “Masterchain” platform that in the future will allow Russian market participants to exchange information, confirm information about clients or deals and create new products by using blockchain features.
The participation of the CBR is required to coordinate blockchain’s implementation and anti-money laundering legislation.
