Thu, 24/05/2018

Amendments to the Banja Luka Stock Exchange Rules expand the Official Market and the Free Market with new market segments.

The EU Connect Market is a new market segment within the Official Market reserved for trading with shares, bonds and depository receipts of issuers that have their headquarters in the European Union.

The Free Market will be expanded with two new market segments:

-          Market of issuers that are late with the financial disclosure

-          Market of issuers in bankruptcy or liquidation procedures

According to its current applicable rules, BLSE disables for trading securities of issuers that have been late with the delivery of the financial and audit reports for more than 60 days and securities of issuers that enter into bankruptcy or liquidation procedures.

These securities will now be listed and traded in the new market segments.

The Amendments will come into force on 29th May 2018.

Impact on investors: Amendments to the BLSE Rules introduce new market segments for EU based issuers, issuers that are late with the financial disclosure and issuers in bankruptcy or liquidation procedures.
