The Bulgarian parliament approved two new deputy chairpersons of the Financial Supervision Commission
In October the Parliament approved the nomination of Diana Jordanova to become a Deputy Chairperson of the FSC responsible for the Social Insurance Supervision Division and Boyko Atanassov to become a Deputy Chairperson of the FSC responsible for the Investment Activity Supervision Division.
Before his election, Mr. Atanassov was an Executive Director of the National Revenue Agency (NRA) and a Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Finance responsible for the Taxation Directorate.
Prior to her election, Mrs. Yordanova was a Member of Parliament and also Deputy Chairperson of the Budget and Finance Committee, Chairperson of the Subcommittee on Control and Accountability of the Public Sector and a member of the Commission for Religious Affairs and Human Rights.
The approval of Parliament was promulgated in the State Gazette on 13 October 2017 and is now effective.
