Summary:
Zagreb Stock Exchange will begin with the publication of new equity indices on 22 February 2013: the index CROBEXplus© and five new industry indices.

CROBEXplus© is an equal-weight index, therefore assigning the same weight (same level of importance) to every share within the index. The number of shares will be unlimited and shares will only be considered when:
- They have been listed on the regulated market with a number of trading days greater than 70 % of their total number of trading days in the past six months;
- They must have a free-float market capitalisation higher than HRK 10 million.
The industry indices will include shares only from the CROBEXplus© index. The first five industry indices will cover the following sectors:
- CROBEXnutris – Production and food processing
- CROBEXindustrija – Industrial production
- CROBEXkonstrukt – Construction
- CROBEXtransport – Transportation
- CROBEXturist – Tourism
By introducing the new indices the ZSE will have now published in total ten indices: eight share indices and two bond indices.
Impact on investors: Introduction of the new indices will enable investors to identify market trends faster, easier and more efficiently, thus providing investors a more comprehensive overview of the market.
