A Protocol to the Tax Treaty between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan was signed in Astana on 24 November 2014. It amends the treaty between the two countries on the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and capital, signed in Almaty on 9 April 1998.
The necessary legislative process required for the entry into force of the protocol will now be undertaken in both countries.
