Following the previous Newsflash from 13 February 2013 please be informed that the cooperation between the Hungarian CSD, KELER and the WARP (Wide Application Routing Platform) market players has made way for the automated electronic order routing platform that has launched on 8 April 2013, and is currently available for market players involved in the investment fund distribution process. The general business rules and the fee schedule covering the operation of the WARP platform have also been completed and are available on the website of KELER.
Impact on investors: The new electronic platform, WARP, provides simpler and more efficient access and process management for all players in the investment fund distribution process i.e. fund managers, fund distributors and local custodians. Consequently, the sales volumes and assets of the funds can continue to grow, however the distribution process for investors does not change and therefore the introduction of the WARP platform does not have a direct impact on investors.
