On 27 April 2013, the Hungarian CSD, KELER switched the daily operations to its back-up centre thus testing its Disaster Recovery Plan for 5 consecutive weeks. During the testing period operations at the backup site ran smoothly, daily processes were completed as usual. KELER considers the test successful without any issues reported from the participants or KELER. All perceptions of the testing phase will be reflected in the updated Business Contingency Plan.
Impact on investors: The feedback and results collected during the operations at the backup centre will be incorporated in KELER’s Disaster Recovery Plan in order to make it even more effective. KELER will continue to put considerable emphasis on business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
