KELER extends its operating hours

The Hungarian CSD, KELER has announced that as of 3 August 2015 its operating hours will be extended by one hour in line with the changes in the operating hours of the RTGS cash clearing system reported earlier.

In line with the extension of the operating hours of the Hungarian RTGS system (called VIBER), KELER announced that as of August 3, 2015 it will start its daily operations at 7.00 a.m. CET instead of the current 8.00 a.m. CET. The cut-off times of KELER will not change, free of payment transfers can be submitted until 6.00 p.m. CET, while delivery versus payment transfers are accepted until 5.30 p.m. CET.

As the cut-off times of KELER will remain unchanged, the cut-off times of UniCredit Bank Hungary for securities transfers will also remain the same after August 3, 2015. UniCredit Bank Hungary will accommodate to the extended operating hours of KELER by opening its systems earlier so that STP processing will start running from 7.00 a.m. CET.

Impact on investors: No direct impact on investors, both the market and UniCredit Bank Hungary’s cut-off times for securities transfers remain unchanged.
