The Romanian Financial Supervisory Authority approved a regulation on the issuance of depositary receipts, which treats the following topics:
- applicable legal framework
- registration of the underlying shares based on which depository receipts are issued
- rights and obligations related to the underlying shares
- general shareholder meetings procedures
- corporate actions
The regulation was published in the Official Gazette on 7 October 2013 and entered into force immediately.
