Successful Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Test at UniCredit GSS Russia

UniCredit GSS Russia tested its Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), including a relocation test. Both tests were successful.

UniCredit GSS Russia is pleased to inform that it successfully carried out the annual BCP testing on 19 February 2015. All critically important business-processes, such as settlement, corporate actions and income collection, as well as static data, internal control and billing were tested in terms of compliance with BCP requirements.

The relocation of the key personnel to the GSS primary back-up site was performed as part of the testing. All critically important systems used by UniCredit GSS Russia were involved in the testing. All of them were successfully reset from the back-up site and all Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) were met during operational hours.

On 18 February 2015 UniCredit GSS Russia performed the DRP testing with positive results.

Impact on investors: As a result of the successful testing of UniCredit GSS Russia’s BCP and DRP we are pleased to confirm that the GSS related Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan are fully operational and adequately sufficient to restore our core services within the set timeframes (RTO).
