Correction - Belgrade Stock Exchange extends trading hours

Extended trading hours of the Belgrade Stock Exchange will become effective as of 2 November 2015.

Belgrade Stock Exchange market is divided into two market segments: the Regulated Market and the Multi Trading Platform (MTP). Trading on the Regulated Market is organised by the continuous trading method. Depending on the instrument, trading on MTP can be organised by the continuous trading method (for bonds) or the single price auction (for shares and closed end investment funds). 

Please be informed that Belgrade Stock Exchange decided to prolong the duration of trading phases on both market segments, Regulated Market and MTP. The change will become effective as of 2 November 2015.

Continuous trading day will start at 9:00 AM CET (previously 9:30 AM CET) and end by 2:00 PM CET (previously 1:00 PM):

9:00 – 9:30 AM – preopening phase, with sub-phases:

     • 9:00 – 9:25 – receipt of orders,     
     • 9:25 – 9:30 – random period;

9:30 AM – opening;

9:30 AM – 02:00 pm– continuous trading;

02:00 PM – closing.

Single price auction day will start at 9:00 AM CET (previously 9:30 AM CET) and end by 12:00 PM CET (no change):

9:00 AM – 12:00 AM– preopening phase, with sub-phases:

     • 9:00 AM– 11:55 AM – receipt of orders,     
     • 11:55 AM – 12:00 PM – random period;

12:00 PM – auction;

12:00 PM – trading;

 

Impact on investors:  As of 2 November 2015, investors will be able to benefit from the longer trading hours on both Regulated Market and MTP segment of Belgrade Stock Exchange.
