Amendments to KDD Fee Schedule

The Slovenian CSD, KDD, announced today, 13 December, amendments to its current Fee Schedule, which will come into force from 1 January 2014. The amended version of the fee schedule in Slovenian is already available on the website of the depository, http://www.kdd.si. The English translation will also be published on the webpage, however at a later stage.

The reason for the changes, as elaborated in the decision of the Board, is the adjustment of the currently valid fees with the inflation rate of 1.3% in the period from December of 2012 to November of 2013.

The main changes that will have an impact on international investors are as follows:

  • the settlement fee for short term fixed income securities will increase from 0.016% to 0.017% (the one for long term fixed income and equities will remain unchanged at 0.035%)
  • the minimum settlement fee will increase from EUR 3.90 to EUR 3.95 and the maximum settlement fee will increase from EUR 23.96 to EUR 24.27
  • the monthly fee for maintenance of a securities account of a legal person will increase from EUR 3.19 to EUR 3.23 (charged first in the month when the securities account is opened and last in the month when the securities account is closed)
  • the safekeeping fee for holdings on all securities accounts will increase as follows:
    • from 0.01428% yearly (0.00119% monthly) for shares and fund units to 0.01452% yearly (0.00121% monthly)
    • from 0.01008% yearly (0.00084% monthly) for fixed income securities to  0.01020% yearly (0.000085% monthly)
  • the minimum value of the safekeeping fee charged per month per account will remain the same at EUR 0.32

Impact on investors: The external costs for settlement and safekeeping at the Slovenian CSD will increase from 1 January 2014.
