Starting from Wednesday, 4 April 2018, the Slovenian CSD has started providing notifications on General Meetings of Shareholders to its members.
According to the currently valid CSD rules, issuers are obliged to provide to the CSD information on the convening of their shareholder meetings, the meetings' agenda and the respective decisions taken. This information is then passed on to the CSD members via e-mail.
Until now, KDD only provided information on corporate actions and income payments.
Impact on investors: The Slovenian CSD is now a centralised source for shareholder meeting information as well.
