The prescribed late payment interest rate, valid from 1st July to 31st December 2013 was changed from 8.75% to 8.5%. The rate is defined according to the Prescribed Late Payment Interest Rate Act (Official Gazette, no. 11/07).
According to the Act, the late payment interest rate is calculated on base of the interest rate used by European Central Bank for main refinancing operations increased by 8%-points.
Impact on investors: The late payment interest rate applicable to cash accounts opened at UniCredit Banka Slovenija d.d. will be amended accordingly.
