GSS UniCredit Bank to strengthen teams

New Head of CEE GSS

Starting from 1 January 2015 Julia Romhányi has been appointed as Head of CEE GSS. In her new position she took responsibility for coordinating and supporting the activity in the following 11 GSS locations: Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine. Julia is managing her new role from Budapest and reporting to Paolo Spada, Head of CEE GTB.   
Julia has started her career at the Budapest Stock Exchange and joined UniCredit in 1999 at the Custody Department as Relationship Manager. In 2010 Júlia Romhányi was appointed as Head of GSS in Hungary while later, in 2011, she became a Regional Head of GSS being responsible for 7 CEE GSS locations.

 

 

New Head of GSS UniCredit Bank Hungary  
Parallel to this as of 6 May 2015 Lívia Mészáros has taken over the Head of GSS position at UniCredit Bank Hungary, who has just returned from maternity leave. Lívia joined UniCredit Bank Hungary's GSS in 2008 and has wide experience in the custody product including corporate actions, product and relationship management from her previous positions.  Between 2012 and 2014 Lívia acted as the deputy head of GSS Hungary at UniCredit.  
We are all convinced that both Julia and Lívia will further strengthen our GSS franchise in their new role and can leverage on their expertise and knowledge gained in the past.

 

 

New Head of Financial Institutions UniCredit Bank Hungary

At the same time, we also proud to announce that Babett Pavlics joined us on the 18th of May as the new Head of our Financial Institutions at UniCredit Bank Hungary Zrt. Babett started her career in the financial sector in 1997, when she joined the Custody Department of ABN AMRO Hungary. After graduation at the Budapest College of Economics in 2001 she joined UniCredit GSS as Sales and Relationship Manager. In the past 10 years, Babett was leading Raiffeisen Bank’s GSS & Financial Institutions Department, where her responsibilities included full coverage for the financial institutional clientele as well as management of key products like securities services & transactional banking.

We are confident, that Babett’s 17 years of experience in the financial institutions sector with key focus on banks and the institutional investors will strongly contribute to our strategy to further develop UniCredit’s results, penetration and client satisfaction in the FI sector.

 

Impact on investors: Julia Romhányi,  Lívia Mészáros and Babett Pavlics will further strengthen the GSS franchise in their new role and can leverage on their expertise and knowledge gained in the past.
