In February, the National Settlement Depository (NSD), Russia`s Central Securities Depository, performed a successful annual test of the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) of NSD’s depository systems, including a relocation test.
The conducted test confirmed the operational possibility of disaster recovery of NSD’s IT systems and relevant databases at the backup data centre and successful migration of IT systems back to the main data centre. The test of the Disaster Recovery Plan to ensure disaster recovery of NSD’s settlement systems is scheduled in March.
