In March, the mandate of Securities Market Agency Director Damijan Žugelj was terminated and Anka Čadež was nominated as an acting Director of SMA until a new Director is approved by the Slovene Parliament.
The government proposed the well experienced lawyer Miloš Čas for this position. He was employed at Ljubljana SE for 17 years as Head of Legal Department and he was a member of the Council of Experts of Insurance Supervision Agency for four years. Since 2006 he has been a member of the Management Board of the asset management company Triglav Skladi, which is one of the biggest asset managers in Slovenia.
