The local CSD Prague (CDCP) has recently advised of its intention, starting from April 3rd, 2023, to introduce unified management of domestic securities into one Central Depository including Short-term securities (i.e. T-Bills). This initiative aims towards the management of records linked to the central securities records maintained by the CNB in its system SKD and will enable, in particular:
• Keeping T-Bills in the same account as other securities (equities, long-term bonds)

The CSD Prague has published the final version of penalty calendar for 2023 in the Annex to the Bulletin (copy of it can be found on https://gss.unicreditgroup.eu/markets/czech-republic/documents).
The CSD Prague publishes recalculations of values used for matching tolerances. The new values for matching tolerances are effective from 4th January 2023. The ECB exchange rates valid for 30th December 2022 are used for conversion and the values are valid until the new values are published in January 2024. |
According to the information recently received from the local Czech CSD, certain IRS-required documents will be requested, in case clients, having position in the above-mentioned security, wanted to benefit from the DTTA. Additional details can be found in the attached document. Please be aware of the upcoming dividend in USD: if you plan to benefit from DTTA, the documents must be received by UniCredit Bank CZ by 30/11/2022. |
