With reference to our Newsflash issues earlier today ( here ), please note that UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia has received the final information that the local CSD (CDCP a,s,) system has been restored and is now fully operational.
Today's last DVP cycle at 1 p.m. will be moved to 1:45 p.m. Prague time.
UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia has received the information that CDCP a.s., the local CSD in Czech Republic, system just experienced an outage and is completely disconnected thus no settlement processing is possible for any Czech securities market participants at the moment. The CSD is working to fix the issue and will provide an update as soon as there is any progress.
With the reference to our previously issued Newsflashes (here), the local CSD (CDCP) has confirmed that the SWIFT connectivity problems have now been solved and the CDCP is back to business as usual.
Impact on Clients: The processing of the SWIFT messages and the respective reporting is now back to normal.
With the reference to our previous Newsflash (here), the local CSD (CDCP) has still NOT confirmed the SWIFT connectivity problems are fully solved. The majority of the trades with SD 20/05/2022 have now been processed and the respective confirmations have been received and sent to our clients. Minor impacts on clients’ trades processing and reporting are expected on UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia side.
UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s. would like to inform that the local CSD (CDCP) has not been receiving SWIFT messages since May 19, 2022 4:00 pm. CDCP is closely working with SWIFT to solve the issue.
The Return Time Objective (RTO) is not known at the moment.
With reference to our previously issued Newsflash (on January 12th, 2022), the local CSD (CDCP a.s.) has announced its intention to change the current Partial Settlement default setup in the internal CSD system from No Partial Settlement Allowed (NPAR) to Partial Settlement Allowed (PART) from May 1 2022.
