Changes of the tax treatment of the income on Eurobonds

From January 1, 2022 the income from Eurobonds issued by the Czech entities that are setup abroad and which will flow to the Czech tax resident, will be taxed. If the beneficiary of the income is a Physical Person, the  latter will be subject to 15% withholding tax. If the beneficiary of the income is a Legal Entity, Czech tax resident, the withholding tax will not be applied.

SWIFT Outage - Normal Operations Resumed

Please be advised that the technical issue that UCB CZ was experiencing on 21/06/2021 has been resolved and the Custody modules (settlement and corporate actions/income) have been correctly working from this morning. This also means that all non-processed settlement and income postings have been booked with correct value on the respective client cash accounts. Once the End of Day Processing is executed this evening, the UCB CZ cash system should properly reflect the balances for 22/06/2021.
