The Double Tax Treaty concluded between Croatia and Luxembourg will enter into force on 13 January 2016 and will become effective as of 1 January 2017.
The applicable rates according to the DTT are as follows:
Dividends:
- 5%, if the beneficial owner holds minimum stake of 10%
- 15% in all other cases
Interest: 10%
Impact on investors: Eligible tax residents of Croatia and Luxembourg will be able to enjoy preferential DTT rates as of 1 January 2017.
