The Czech Central Securities Depository (CDCP) announced information on the trading and settlement activities at the end of the year.
The last accounting day of 2015 will be 31 December and the first accounting day of 2016 will be 4 January.
Thursday, 31 December 2015 is not a trading day, which means that the stock exchange trading system XETRA® will not be operational on this date. However, the functioning of CDCP will not be restricted and all services will run according to the customary settlement time schedule:
- registration of OTC trades and transfers with trading date 31 December 2015;
- settlement of exchange trades and OTC trades and transfers;
- other CDCP services (borrowing, ACM, modification services, on-line services, receipt and withdrawal of foreign securities).
Further detailed information on the adjusted time schedule on the last accounting day of 2015 will be provided in the second half of December 2015 by CDCP.
Impact on investors: The Czech Central Securities Depository will operate according to a special schedule on 31 December 2015; stock exchange services will not be available on this date.
