UniCredit Bank Czech Republic would like to advise its clients that On May 24, 2023, the Treaty between the Czech Republic and the United Arab Emirates on the prevention of double taxation in the field of income tax and on the prevention of tax evasion and avoidance was signed in Prague.
Both states will now follow a standard legislative process leading to the entry into force of the Treaty and its subsequent practical implementation. The Treaty between the Czech Republic and the United Arab Emirates on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion in the Field of Income and Property Taxes signed in Washington on September 30, 1996 (Collection of Laws No. 276/1997) shall cease to be in force and shall cease to be implemented on by which this new contract will be implemented.
