The Board of the Czech National Bank opted for a hike in interest rates.
After its latest meeting, the CNB announced to have increased the two-week repo rate by 25 basis points to 0.50%. At the same time, it raised the Lombard rate by 50 basis points to 1% and kept the discount rate unchanged at 0.05%.
The new interest rate levels came into effect on 3 November.
