Core Banking System Change

A change in the core system used by UniCredit in Czech Republic will take place over the coming weekend of 7 and 8 October 2017

Please note that during the weekend of 7 and 8 October 2017 UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s. is going to change its core banking (general ledger) system.

Due to this change, all incoming SWIFT traffic will be stopped at 17:15 CET on Friday, 6 October 2017 and all messages will be queued until re-activation following the completion of the core banking system change process. The queued incoming SWIFT messages are expected to be loaded on the morning of Monday, 9 October 2017 at the latest.

The outgoing SWIFT traffic is planned to be stopped as of around midnight on Friday, 6 October 2017, however only after all SWIFT statements (securities and cash) have been sent out to the bank’s clients. The outgoing SWIFT traffic will be re-activated following the completion of the core banking system change process.

Please note that the above refers only to UniCredit’s clients in Czech Republic, there will be no impact on the clients of the bank in Slovakia.

 

Impact on investors: Due to the core system change, the loading of incoming SWIFT messages will be suspended from 17:15 CET on 6 October 2017 and the sending of outgoing SWIFT messages will be suspended as of around midnight on 6 October 2017 (but only after all SWIFT statements have been sent out). Normal SWIFT processing is expected to resume at the latest on the morning of 9 October 2017
