Guided by the needs of the clients

Digitization is one of the strategic pillars of UniCredit, on which we build our long-term success. From the beginning of 2021, we have been shifting our business model to a multi-channel approach that gives our clients the freedom to set up and manage their banking products in the way that suits them best. We will soon reach another milestone on the way to becoming the digital leader in the Central European region. Three key retail products – current account, consumer credit, and mortgage – will be available simply, quickly, and paperless. In line with our strategy of putting clients at the center of everything we do, we want to be guided by their needs. By launching our OPEN multi-channel concept, we open new possibilities in the banking world to our clients and provide service through various devices or business channels, offering them services quickly and conveniently anytime and from anywhere.

According to Jakub Dusílek, CEO of UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s.:“Our digital team has created a new platform as a leader for the entire Central and Eastern Europe. Ease of setup, process optimization, and greater product flexibility are key elements of our bank's digitization, which lead to a flexible response to market changes, a higher return on investment, maintaining a competitive advantage, and effective use of resources.”

Marco Iannaccone, General Manager of UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s. said:“We will use the new digital platform both for online channels and for assisted sales at branches and through the call center. This will significantly reduce the opening and processing time of our key products, move part of sales from branches to the digital environment and increase the overall volume of business.”
