The Budapest Stock Exchange is getting ready for MIFID II by implementing the most recent XETRA release
With the aim to fulfil MIFID II requirements, the Budapest Stock Exchange and the other XETRA markets plan to introduce release 17.0 on 20 November. XETRA members will need to collect the required information on an order by order basis and adequately populate the required fields.
In line with its innovation strategy, the Budapest Stock Exchange migrated its electronic securities trading and joined Deutsche Börse's trading system back in 2013.
In the coming months, functional and technical enhancements will be added to the system. These amendments, subject to final approval from the Exchange Supervisory Authority, include a liquidity provision field, tick sizes, business clocks, pre-trade controls and Audit trail.
