With reference to our Newsflash of 6 January 2022 and 13 January 2022, we would like to inform our clients, that KELER, the Hungarian CSD has published new information on the testing schedule of the CSDR penalty regime.
The penalty related maintenance tasks in KELER’s test environment (MAT) have not been completed, thus the tests with the CSD participants cannot be started. KELER will later inform when functionalities will be available for its participants. Information on the delay of the dry run test original planned to start as of 24 January 2022 has not been disclosed yet by KELER.
Impact on investors: Market tests of penalty planned to start on 19 January 2022 are delayed. The penalty mechanism will be implemented as of 1 February 2022 on the Hungarian market.
