Information About The Test Period Preceding The Go-live Of KELER’s New System

The Hungarian Central Securities Depository (KELER) has announced the planned schedule for market tests preceding the implementation of its new system called BaNCS.

In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the new BaNCS system, KELER has announced its planned testing schedule for direct market participants, the customers of KELER such as local subcustodians.
The test period will start on the 2 March 2015 and will last until the implementation date of the new system, i.e. until 4 May 2015. During this time all functions eligible to testing will be made available step-by-step. During the week ,starting with 2 March 2015, configuration of the connection to the KELER’s test systems is to be completed by the market participants. From 9 March 2015 onwards every week new functions will be made available in the test systems for testing.
According to KELER’s plans as of 6 April 2015 there will be no further changes in the new system (“BaNCS Code Freeze”). From this date the system will be considered as final, changes requiring repeated testing of the system will not be allowed.

Impact on investors: The described system tests aim to ensure the proper operation of functionalities among the CSD and the direct market participants, therefore the testing does not require any actions from clients of UniCredit Bank Hungary.
