KELER operates in BCP mode

UniCredit Bank Hungary Zrt.
Summary:
KELER, the Hungarian CSD reported technical SWIFT problems on 29.04.2019
Mon, 29/04/2019

KELER informed the market that it operates in BCP mode due to permanent SWIFT deficiencies, therefore the trade processing and settlement takes longer than usual. So far KELER has not announced extended settlement and clearing cut off times.

UniCredit Bank Hungary monitors the status of the situation and will send updates in due course.

Impact on investors: Clients might face slower settlement timeframe due to problems in SWIFT based communication between KELER, the Central Bank of Hungary (CBH) and KELER participants communicating with KELER via SWIFT.
