Shorter trading hours on BSE on 29 November 2019

Trading hours will be shorter on the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE) on 29 November 2019 due to system replacement.

The CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange declared shortened trading hours on 29 November 2019 in order to ensure the smooth replacement of its trading system servicing the cash market.  It was also announced that open orders shall be deleted on all BSE spot markets (Xetra Spot, BETA, Xtend).

As of 2 December 2019, the Xetra -T7 system will replace the currently used Xetra Classic system of BSE, which will mean an upgrade from operational and functional perspective as well. 

The above changes will affect only On-Exchange transactions, OTC trading is not impacted.

Impact on investors:  There will be shorter trading hours on BSE on 29 November 2019 due to the upgrade of the current cash market trading system to the  Xetra –T7 system.
