As previously informed, 19 and 20 August 2019 (Monday and Tuesday) will be a public holiday in Hungary (St. Stephen’s Day). Saturday, 10 August 2019 is set as an extra working day, replacing Monday, 19 August 2019, which will be an extra public holiday in accordance with the local practice.
On Saturday, 10 August 2019 banks, KELER and KELER CCP will be open. UniCredit Bank Hungary and both KELER and KELER CCP are operating with shortened deadlines. As a result, UniCredit Bank Hungary will accept client instructions for same day settlement on this day until 12:00 p.m. CET. On the extra working day trading on the Budapest Stock Exchange or on the MTS Hungary Platform will not be possible thus no clearing will take place either.
Impact on investors: All banks, KELER, KELER CCP will be open on the substitute working day 10 August 2019 operating with shortened deadlines, however trading on the Budapest Stock Exchange or on the MTS Hungary Platform will not be possible thus no clearing will take place.
