KELER, the Hungarian CSD has provided information on the progress of its Service Development Program (SDP) formerly known as System Modernisation Program (SMP) on June 12, 2019.
According to the news, vendors developing the modules of the enhanced system have already been selected and the specification phase has started. During this phase the scope of the project is being identified, mainly based on the Service Description document previously distributed to market participants (published on the website of KELER (https://english.keler.hu/Strategy/SMP-BANCS%20project/Business%20Description/) .
In order to identify the aims of the SDP project two documents are being prepared by KELER:
- A detailed Gap analysis to assess the differences between the current and the previously planned projects;
- A Service description document with details on the scope of services to be provided by the enhanced system. This report will be continuously updated in line with the progress of the SDP and will also be shared by market participants in due time.
In order to give a complete picture to its clients, KELER will publish the above documents simultaneously, before July 15, 2019.
