KELER, the Hungarian CSD, announced the launch of the second phase developments of CAPS, the web-based application managing SRDII related functions and services.
The following new features will be introduced as of 29 March 2021:

SWIFT connection for messages handled by CAPS (ISO 20022 standard messages)

Parallel to the announcement, KELER published updated a Customer Information document and interface descriptions.
Market tests for KELER’s customers will be possible between 22 February and 29 March 2021.
Impact on investors: SRDII related SWIFT communication for CSD’s clients and intermediaries without direct account relationship will now be possible, furthermore KELER will start the service for Shareholder’s Identification in case of Hungarian listed shares as of 29 March 2021. Further details on the new features of KELER CAPS and guidelines for RMA key exchange will be provided in a separate client communication.
