The Romanian Central Depository announced today that its migration to T2S as part of Wave I has been successfully completed and euro settlement by using the pan-European settlement platform T2S is now offered to CSD participants.
According to the Central Depository two further stages of the project are still to be introduced. The second phase of the project will be finalised by February, 2017 and represents automation of the interface with T2S. In the third stage, after the European single currency is adopted by Romania, further advanced functionalities will be implemented.
