Romanian Parliament approved a new law which amends, supplements and repeals certain existing legislations in order to lay down measures for the implementation of European legislations.
SRDII transposal into local legislation is possible with the implementation of this new law . The currently applicable Issuers’ Law was amended amongst other market applicable laws, such as :

Law no. 297/2004 regarding the capital market,

Law no. 74/2015 regarding the managers of alternative investment funds,
-
Law no. 126/2018 on financial instrument markets,
-
Law no. 411/2004 and Law no. 204/2006 both concerning pension funds
The law has been sent for promulgation and will enter into force 30 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette of Romania.
