The deadline for Russian tax residents to submit notice of direct and indirect participations in foreign companies was extended to 15 June 2015 (instead of 1 April as originally announced).
Russian president Vladimir Putin has signed the postponement of the deoffshorisation law. According to the law, the tax authorities must be notified of direct or indirect participation in a controlled company, if the participation exceeds 50% (25%- starting in 2016).
Moreover, if the controlled company ceased to exist by 14 June 2015, notification of participation in the company should not be submitted.
