Moscow Exchange to establish a new listing advisory body

Moscow Exchange is looking to establish a new advisory council that will deal with complex listing cases and with problematic issuers of on-exchange traded securities facing economic difficulties.

The competences of this body will include full scope of authorities to approve securities admission or refusal to trading, delisting of securities or changing their listing level, trading suspension and resumption, and approval of amendments to issue documents, among others. At present, questions related to listing and delisting procedures are discussed by participants of MOEX committees on the stock market and securities.

It is envisaged that this advisory council will comprise 30-35 participants, including evaluators, auditors, lawyers, representatives of rating agencies, experts on corporate governance, investors, investment bankers, analysts, representatives of the stock exchange and the Central Bank.
