The Moscow Exchange will terminate trading in the Classica sector of the Equity market, and will close it starting from 3 August 2015. The reason is the low liquidity in this sector, which currently constitutes 0.01% of the total equity trading on the Moscow exchange.
Securities admitted for trading in the Classica sector are expected to be added to the MOEX Board system of indicative quotations, which was launched by Moscow Stock Exchange in 2014 and allows traders and investors to input and view quotations of over 1020 Russian shares.
Impact on investors: Trading services in the Classica sector of the Equity market will not be available for investors anymore.
