On December 20, 2016, the Supervisory Board of the National Settlement Depository, Russian`s Central Securities Depository, appointed Natalia Sidorova, Head of Global Securities Services in Russia as the Chairman of the CSD Committee for Quality Control and Risk Management.
The key functions of the Committee for Quality Control and Risk Management include making recommendations on the CSD’s clients’ and marketing policy, mitigation of operational risk, improving of service level and quality control, including IT systems enhancements, etc.
The committee comprises of thirteen market experts, representing the largest local custodians and brokers.
Yulia Umnova, Head of Relationship Management and Product Development of GSS Russia, was appointed to the CSD Committee for Settlement and Depository Services and Tariffs.
Impact on investors: Representation of AO UniCredit Bank GSS management within the CSD will contribute to further development of the CSD and lobbying of the clients’ interests in the Russian securities market.
