The National Settlement Depositary agrees on a comprehensive insurance package with Ingosstrakh
The National Settlement Depositary (NSD) and insurance company Ingosstrakh negotiated a contract on package insurance for another year’s term. The total insurance coverage is set at USD 65 million collectively for one or all insured events during the period of contract’s validity.
The insurance policy covers losses of the policyholder and losses of third parties (including but not limited to NSD’s clients) as a result of the third parties’ willful activity as well as a result of mistakes and omissions inflicted by NSD management and employees while conducting their professional duties. Risks of electronic and computer crimes, technical mistakes, software and communication failures are covered by the policy.
