On 21 July 2015, Yulia Umnova, Acting Head of UniCredit GSS Russia, was elected to the Participants Committee of the National Settlement Depository (the Central Securities Depository of Russia) for a term of one year from 29 July 2015 .
The members of the Committee are elected from individuals representing the interests of NSD’s clients, registrars, trade organisers, clearing houses and other companies - thus it presently includes representatives of 20 customers, 3 registrars, 1 trade organiser and 1 clearing organisation.
The Committee reviews and approves NSD internal documents, such as terms and conditions, electronic document exchange rules, internal regulations, risk management rules, customer complaint procedures, fee schedules, etc.
Impact on investors: The lobbying presence of AO UniCredit Bank within NSD will contribute further to its future development and to the protection of investor rights on the Russian market.
