The first IPO on the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) in almost 80 years was completed successfully
Trading in FINTEL ENERGIJA A.D. Beograd was initiated on 20 November with its shares listed on the prime listing of BELEX. Through its public call that was finalised in October, the company sold 1,510,506 shares and collected RSD 755,253,000 (approx. EUR 6.3 million).
This should be only the beginning of the emergence of Serbian companies on the Stock Exchange. This may be a chance for the capital market to find its place in the the domestic economy.
