UniCredit Bank Serbia JSC
Summary:
For the calendar year 2018, non-resident clients are required to provide their Certificate of Tax Residence.
Fri, 01/12/2017

In order to obtain tax relief at source for the year 2018, all non-resident clients are advised to update their Certificates of Residence.

Certificate of Residence must be provided as an original document. Notarization and legalization of the document is not required, however the document needs to be signed and stamped by the relevant authority of the client’s domicile country. The certificate is valid for the calendar year of issuance.

Please note that the name and the address of the investor on the issued Certificate of Residence have to match the account name and address at the CSD.

Impact on Investors: Certificate of Residence should be provided shortly after 1 January 2018, and no later than 31 January 2018, in order to avoid standard tax rates (which will be applied until valid Certificate of Residence is received).
