CDCP to implement Partial Settlement

The Centrálny depozitár cenných papierov SR, a.s. (CDCP) has confirmed to its Participants the obligation to implement partial settlement as of 20 January 2024, as result of overstepped settlement failure rates, set in CSDR rules.
During this year the CDCP plans to amend the Settlement System and the Operational Rules accordingly. However, the partial settlement will be launched only on holders’ accounts (omnibus nominees accounts) and own assets accounts of CDCP participants. It will be not used, in the first phase of implementation, on segregated securities owners accounts.
The exact date of the launch of partial settlement is to be determined.
