The rating agency Standard & Poor's (S&P) has confirmed Slovakia's long-term A+ rating, keeping its outlook stable. The economy is to be fuelled by the growing consumption of Slovakian households, the boosting credit activity of banks, and a stable level of private equity investment which shall result in circa +3.5% economic growth in coming 3 years.  S&P positively evaluates a relatively low public debt, sustainable public finances, a stable volume of the foreign investments and a well-capitalised banking sector with a low share of defaulted loans.

Impact on investors:  S&P places trust in Slovakia’s economy and its development. Therefore, S&P evaluates Slovakia better than Poland, Hungary and Spain.
