The new version of the Tariff Book of the Slovenian Central Securities Depository comes into effect on 23 October 2015, ensuring its alignment with the new Book Entry Securities Act

The Central Securities Depository of Slovenia, KDD, announced amendments to its tariff book related to the special rules for the accounts of private individuals.

The main changes are as follows:

  • The monthly fee for maintenance and safekeeping of securities on the securities account if average monthly balance of the respective account exceeds EUR 3,300.00 has been set at EUR 0.64, plus:
    • 0.00121% per month on the average value of shares and investment certificates;
    • 0.00085% per month on the average value of the debt securities.
  • The monthly fee for maintenance and safekeeping of securities if average monthly balance of the respective account does not exceed EUR 3,300.00  has been set as 0.02083% of the average value of the securities on such account.
  • KDD stops to charge any other fees for maintenance and safekeeping of the securities on the respective accounts of private individuals.
  • Calculation of the average value of the securities, booked on the respective account, is subject to the methodology provided in Article 29(a) of the Tariff Book, which can be found under the following web-link:

Impact on investors: Setting in line the CSD’s tariffs with the new Book Entry Securities Act, which advantages the harmonization of the Slovenian securities market with EU regulations on corporate actions and for the purposes of joining T2S.
