The National Bank of Slovakia granted Slovak Central Securities Depository (Centrálny depozitár cenných papierov SR, a.s. - CDCP) the license to operate in accordance with requirements of the European CSD Regulation (CSDR) with effect from January 28th 2019. The license granted relates to the new European legislation harmonizing organizational requirements and some operational aspects of CSDs established in the European Union.
CDCP started the relicensing process in September 2017 and with the CSDR licence is subject to identical, directly applicable requirements, standards and rules as any other CSD licensed under the CSDR within the EU.
