Julia B. Romhanyi, Global Head of Securities Services UniCredit, has been granted the GC Legend award on March 28, 2019 by Global Custodian, the leading magazine covering the international securities services business and thereby has been inducted to their Hall of Fame. The award was presented at Global Custodian’s 30th Anniversary Leaders in Custody Awards ceremony at The Dorchester, London.
The Global Custodian Legend award is one of the highest recognitions reserved to individuals from across the securities services industry for their contributions to the custody business and for their career achievements.
This illustrious award is a well-deserved confirmation of Julia’s constant strive for excellence and of her lifetime dedication to the Global Securities Services business within UniCredit .
Julia made the following remark upon receiving the title: “I am very honored for this international industry award which was an unexpected surprise to me. Needless to say that the award goes to UniCredit, to my managers and of course to the entire Global Securities Services community within our franchise, without whom this recognition could have not been achieved”.
Julia started her career at the Budapest Stock Exchange and joined UniCredit in 1999 at the Custody Department as Relationship Manager. In 2015, Julia has been appointed as Head of CEE Global Securities Services and she has been the Global Head of Securities Services since 2018.
