Central Securities Depository In Slovakia Introduces Account Maintenance Fees

The Central Securities Depository of the Slovak Republic (CDCP) has published new Fee Schedule, which will enter into force on 01.07.2015.

The CDCP Supervisory Board, held on 30.03.2015, approved the new version of the CDCP Price List, which establishes account maintenance fees for the securities owner's accounts, client accounts and holders` accounts. The fees will be calculated as follows:

The fees are calculated using the following method: the total nominal value of securities on the account on the last day of each calendar month (sum of the total value of equity securities and debt securities); min. € 30.00  maximum 10,000.00 € per account for particular month. Monthly billing frequency will be applied.

In addition to the introduction of account maintenance fees, CDCP also changed the pricing policy for new bond issues.

Impact on investors: CDCP announced changes to its fee conditions, effective from 01.07. 2015.
